This afternoon teaparty is such a good idea for a laid back, summery get together. It works well for a birthday, baby shower or kitchen tea. Vintage themed parties are a great opportunity to throw in some other elements which can complement it, such as the candy and balloons seen here. Also, you cannot go wrong with bunting, old style glass bottles, pretty straws, vintage suitcases and pretty flowers! Your imagination can run wild and it’s so easy to put together! There are no rules with creating a vintage style party…but just remember that less is more and too many odds and ends can be overwhelming. Choosing pretty pastel accents (for balloons, the cakes, the bunting) will also just give your party that girly feel.
