A few month ago I hosted a woodlands gender reveal party for my cousin, Ilana, owner of Cosmetiek Professional Make-up. She was just past her first trimester at the stage and had fortunately found out the gender of the baby the week before. We opted for a woodlands theme as it is gender neutral and my cousin baked the cake herself to ensure that the gender was kept a surprise. Juanette from DeAnna Photography was there to capture each precious moment and she did it beautifully! A big thank you to her!
Ilana’s sister-in-law Nanette wow’ed us with some gorgeous cupcakes!
Colleen from Lieflingkind Design designed all the gorgeous stationary for us and we will share some free printables on the blog tomorrow. There are also some stationary items for sale that can be customised on shop.lovilee.co.za. The stationary included welcome sign posters, tags, invitations and baby well wish cards.
The big reveal!!!
The ‘WISH’ letter trees are from The Crazy store. White cake board from In Good Company. The small snail cookies are from Woolworths and the fake grass runner from Chamdor Faktry Sales.
As favours I purchased rolls of glycerine soap from The Soap Barn and cut them into smaller pieces with tags that said ‘from this shower to yours’.
