One of the top colour trends for Summer 2013 is the lovilee colour mint. In the forties and fifties, mint was a fashionable colour used for household appliances (think telephones, bathroom tiles, kitchen scales etc.) and fashion items. Nowadays, with vintage being a popular style incorporated into weddings, the possibilities with mint are endless: use if for your bridesmaids dresses, refreshments, candy bar, bouquets, decor and accessories.
You can also pick up mint accents with soft ribbons or foliage (succulents add a wonderful mint hue to bouquets). It is a vibrant, fresh and crisp colour which works well on its own, or combined with ivories, corals and peaches.

I love all things pretty – perhaps it’s got to do with being born under the planet Venus. They say true Librans need to be surrounded by lovilee things. I’m intrigued by what makes décor, food and people and believe that as long as you can dream it, you can do it too. I am also a co-owner of Moi Decor -
