About the party…
Elianna’s Mom contacted me to do something special for her little “Princess” to celebrate her 2nd Birthday. She dreamed of everything pink and pretty for Elianna. Instead of a traditional Princess theme, I incorporated different design elements which resulted in a Pretty Pinkalicious Candy Table.

AI sourced Marshmallows, Red Liquorice and Sparkly cupcakes from Norries Caterers. Fresh Woolworths Strawberries dipped in Lindt chocolate were gorgeous and Jelly Tots & Smarties were placed in cookie jars, easy for little hands to reach.

Elianna’s Mom wanted to have one influence over the party and that was the birthday cake. She made a plain chocolate sponge and iced it with chocolate butter cream. We finished it off by decorating with single Kit Kats on the outside and Smarties in the middle. A plain pink satin Ribbon added the finishing touch.

Strawberry Nesquik Milk with gorgeous Dark Pink stripey straws (sourced overseas) were placed in mini glass milk bottles which were sourced locally from Consol Glass for the thirsty 2 year olds.

The ‘Love’ drawer box and pink rose balls were purchased at Mr Price Homestore. The mini tin watering cans and pails were supplied by Super Floral in Cape Town with the glass Apocathery Candy jars from the @home store. Various cake and cupcake stands sourced locally from selected baking and cookware homestores.

The stunning photography was captured be Dee from Dee During Photography. Dee managed to capture the essence of the Pinkalicious theme with depth and exquisite colours. Dee was wonderful and easy to work with.
