The idea of Mooi Goete was born long before the actual shop came to life. The owner, Marli Lubbe, has always adored beautiful things and used to spend hours dreaming about being able to surround herself with them. With all sourcing done by herself, she contributes her success to a few of SA’s most creative souls (designers & manufacturers) who shares her passion for beautifying life!
Anyone and everyone who appreciates the time and effort the ‘handmade process’ involves and loves receiving a beautiful package ‘old school style’ (via the post) will benefit from browsing the Mooi Goete store. People who prefer one on one contact during the design and manufacturing process love the fact that they are available to them, directly. At Mooi Goete clients quickly become friends.
All products are carefully sourced and chosen by Marli, their motto is to only join forces with colleagues they would support and buy from themselves.
The whole Mooi Goete shopping process is aimed to be stress-free experience. “We advise clients to make a nice cup of tea, find a quiet corner, light a scented candle, put their feet up and enjoy a leisurely ‘walk’ through our on-line store by simply browsing through the albums on our Facebook page. By clicking on a item, the details and price will appear on the top right hand corner. Simply scribble down a list of anything that steals your heart and send an email (with the items description or photograph) to mooigoete@gmail.com.”
