The Cowshed is a wedding venue situated just between Lydenburg and Dullstroom in Badfontein, Mpumalanga. I first saw this wedding venue in a post on Rock ‘n Roll bride and just loved it! How excited was I when they decided to become a part of lovilee?! The Cowshed plays host to a variety of weddings including some very glam barn weddings. Even though it’s a farm setting, modern weddings contrast nicely with the all the old buildings and the original farm barn.
Weather permitting ceremonies are either conducted in the olive grove, or under various other shady tree spots at the venue and sometimes also in the veld. They also have a small chapel that can be used otherwise. The venue can cater for up to 120 guests and have various accommodation options to choose from including a lovilee honeymoon suite for the bridal couple.
