Photographer, Kim Gensler decided captured this lovilee natural light photo session with 4 beautiful children at the Silver Lakes Golf Estate. The inspiration behind the session was based on the very popular novel written by Mark Twain, The Adventures of Huckleberry Finn & Tom Sawyer. If you you haven’t read or heard about the novel, it takes place in southern America during the early 1800’s. It’s basically about 2 boys and their adventures down and around the Mississippi River.
To keep with the theme and the time frame of that era, she wanted the boys to be dressed in denim jeans, no shirt, suspenders and a cute hat. Kaylee wore a cute, simple, white sundress. And of course, no shoes. Various props like home made fishing poles made from sticks and string were used. Another stick carried a piece of wrapped fabric that carried their snacks and she also found a cute umbrella for Kaylee to carry.
