Dwayne and Juanè, both students in Bloemfontein decided on a spring blossom couple shoot just before their last formal, photographed by Eye Poetry Photography. The images ere taken at the Celebration venue in Bloem, a lovilee venue with plenty of pretty blossoms and beautiful light. Juanè, a photographer herself, knew exactly what to do and how to pose, and Dwayne was so cool and at ease, making for gorgeous memories.
How did you meet?
We actually met each other a couple of years ago, even though Juanè will deny this, I just think she wanted me to work for her attention. This year we both moved into the same student house and although there was definite physical attraction I didn’t think much of it. One random morning in the beginning of the year we had our first real conversation while I was attempting to fix her fan and I began to see how incredible she is. She has amazing insight, awesome opinions and her interests had me curious to know more about her.
Eventually we started “seeing each other” in secrecy. We hid it from our other house mates to avoid any awkwardness; this led to a series of sneaking around and making weird excuses to go somewhere to see each other (almost everyone knew from the start what was going on.) Gradually it became more serious. Since then everyday day has been a weird, fun and entertaining adventure.
Was there any eventful something that happened on the day?
At one point we wanted them to stand between all the little horses and kiss, so one of the horses decide to bite Juanè, not very hard though, so that was really funny.
