I attended Forever New‘s Ever After event at Sandton City on Saturday. Forever New is, in my opinion, the best destination store to look for bridesmaids dresses and wedding accessories. The launch of their bridal party and styling sessions, that can be booked for at most of their stores, was the inspiration behind this event. Brides that made appointments for their bridesmaids today, also received 15% off the purchase of two or more dresses for their bridal party.
This event, that also took place at their Woodlands store in Pretoria, was both a great and fun experience. From the absolutely lovilee Candy table, complete with favour bags for guests to fill up with sweets to take home. To the Glam Cam booth where brides-to-be and their parties were able to pose with bouquets, everything created the perfect setting for a full bridal pamper experience.
The event coincided with the launch of the new Sapphire Sky collection. A collection that boasts a palette of icy blues, radiant sapphire and powder whites are highlighted by iridescent accents. This chic mood is complemented by the new frosted floral trend which features sheer blur filters over watery florals, for a romantic yet directional new look. The formal evening and bridesmaid dresses are romantic with layers that float and cascade and necklines take a sports-luxe look with clean lines and racer style cut-outs. Clutch bags are structured and high shine, radiant with all over metallic finishes and dramatic embellishment. Delicate jewellery completes this sophisticated and modern story.
