The Brides Office is a, free to download, new wedding app that aims to make planning a wedding easier. The app connects you to preferred wedding vendors, checklists, guest-list and the budgeter to guide you through your wedding planning. Use the live-chat to chat with bridesmaids and more.
The app was launched by Candi Makeup, a Johannesburg based hair and makeup artist, who has experienced the good, the bad and the ugly of the South African wedding industry. It is available for download on both the iStore and Play Store. This tech savvy app keeps Brides connected and up to speed on your smart phone.
My aim is to improve the planning process for busy women, the app does all the work for you through checklists, budgeter and guest list. A unique feature is the option to invite bridesmaids to chat via our live-chat. A simple download done in the Apple or Play store and you can start planning your wedding day.
Review
I downloaded the Android version of the app in an instance, register and was ready to get ‘planning’. The menu’s were well positioned and easy to use. Often brides-to-be feel overwhelmed and don’t know where or how to start their wedding planning. The app takes care of this with default checklists suggesting what tasks are needed. Simply add a date or more of your own tasks and delete completed tasks.
The budgeter is simple to use, simply insert your budget. Add a vendor as well as the expense and keep track of your spending. A unique feature is the bridesmaid live-chat. There is also a system in the guest-list where you invite a bridesmaid/s to the app, they are then able to view your countdown to your day and chat with you. Best way to delegate to your bridesmaids!
