Here with inspiration for our first challenge – Macrame / Wool art

Macrame: the art of knotting string in patterns to make decorative articles.

Macrame is an art form that is making headway again and can add a touch of lovilee to any room. I have opted to include wool art as macrame is not always the easiest to attempt, but I would urge you to try nevertheless. At the end of last year I revamped my home office and attempted doing macrame. I am fortunate to have a very creative mom who showed me how to do it. I made a macrame planter hanger and also some wall hanging pieces that I hope to share soon. It is addictive once you get started!

I found a great resource on youtube with plenty of macrame projects to attempt. Here is also a great tutorial on the basic knots that you need to know. Visit the Creative Challenge Pinterest board for more inspiration and tutorials.
