Shop on-line furniture with @home

It is official! You can now buy your favourite furniture pieces on-line from @home. Previously you were only able to swoon over the beauties available on the internet and had to purchase them in store, now you are able to click and shop in the comfort of your own home. Our house is still very ‘minimalisticly’ furnished, so when I was able to try out the new shopping experience I literally could not decide what I wanted first.

The purchase process
Deciding on what to purchase was the most time consuming in the process. Once decided I added the item to my cart, created myself an on-line profile and linked my TFG rewards cart. I then entered a voucher discount code and ‘checked out’ to make the final payment. The website redirected to a secure third party payment gateway where I had to complete my credit card details etc.

Their help desk
You won’t believe, but this mama, and self proclaimed internet shopping expert botched up my payment by misplacing my phone somehow just before I had to pay and then proceeded to press too many buttons and… Well, I had to phone the TFG help desk. (at least I am able to add a review on this for you too)

The lady that assisted was super helpful and was immediately able to track my order and assist in me paying my outstanding balance on the website again. After payment was received I received a pretty email with the heading ‘IT’S TIME TO GET EXCITED!, we have received payment and your delivery is being lovingly prepared as we speak.’

Some of the items that I considered purchasing

  • Drink trolleys are totally on trend at the moment. They are not just used as drink carts, but used as eye catching decor pieces on their own or styled to perfection. These trolleys also make for great servers in the dining room or in entertain areas.
  • Empire Drinks trolley in gold from @home

  • Pedestals for our guest bedroom. Although I have not quite decided what style I want to go with in our guest bedroom these mid century retro looking side-tables caught my eye. I just love the natural and white wood combination. View their whole range of pedestals here.
  • Mid Century pedestal in white with one drawer available on-line furniture from @home

  • I am still in need of two side-tables for our lounge, but just could not decide what I wanted! There were quite a few options available with this set of 2 tables being my favourite.

Finally! The big reveal… What did I purchase?! I decided on this stunning (and much needed) Willow 3 seater sofa. I have been looking at purchasing a couch for our sparsely furnished lounge in charcoal and this one just shouted ‘buy me’!!! I even got R500 off the purchase price as part of their on-line opening special! (Exclusive to on-line purchases). Follow me on Instagram @lovilee_za to see some pics when this baby arrives!
