Erika and Dani opted for a 3 day romantic forest wedding that was seriously gorgeous. This was an international wedding submission of a unique and original wedding celebration that took place in Spain. Érika, the bride, is a wedding planner and she wanted to gift her family and friends with a long weekend to spend time together. I hope you enjoy this post as much as I did.

The planning
As a wedding planner, I wanted to set a good example with my own wedding, reflecting the essence of our company. Our premise was to reunite our friends and family in a remote paradise. It meant an intimate wedding, 600 km from home, in Madrid. We wanted to surprise our 77 guests with this 3-day event and let them rest and enjoy this special time with us. The theme ‘Feel like holidays’ with the event taking place in the beautiful volcanic Garrotxa, only few kilometers away from Girona.
The 3 day event took place at Mas Can Batlle, a country hotel. Its owners, Albert and Cristina, made us feel like at home. Dani and I, as well as the best men and the bridesmaids stayed there. The rest of the guests stayed in nearby hotels.
Day 1
A recreation of Much Ado about Nothing (adapted to XXI century) with a picnic where all guest wore white. The chef of Friday was our friend and best man Juan Pablo Santollo, who gave an elegant avant-garde touch. We enjoyed the pool, games and ended the day with a Mexican barbecue and karaoke. My dress for that day was designed by Clara Brea Designs combined with tulle trousers, a jewel bodice and a rustic Chanel jacket. I also wore a crown from Marina Oh Fleurs! My bridesmaids were dressed in a similar fashion (with a tulle skirt. The floral bracelet was made by Marina Oh Fleurs!).
Day 2
My wedding dress was designed by Raquel Ferreiro , an embellished short dress with another layer dress in silk georgette. I searched for a long time till I found what I really wanted. The headpiece was made by Paula from Le Touquet. The golden shoes were also custom made by Keli & Salo. My bouquet consisted of two tied blue thistles by Marina from Oh Fleurs! The ceremony took place in a romantic forest setting.
The dinner was prepared by L’esclusivitá Catering , starting with a long cocktail. Oh Fleurs! prepared the beautiful floral centerpieces and Presume de Boda the handmade white/ golden candles. There was seating plan only for our table.
Day 3
We were treated again by Chef Juan Pablo Santollo to delicious food and the party continued.
