This simply sage wedding inspiration shoot was just to lovilee to overlook. The use of herbs and foliage as well as the hints of blues just made this a gorgeous palette. Inspiration was drawn from nature… The lush green surroundings of the valley, foothills, the bursts of powder blue in the sky and the form of serenity it offers. The team wanted to make use of the different shades of green create this eulogy and harmonize with the blue used in the selection of décor.
When you choose to surround yourself and see the Majesty of God our creator your eyes will be enlightened by the natural beauty that surrounds you. This is a revelation that how true inspiration will awaken the creativity in you and it will flow freely. You will have a vision and in return be able to create something inspiring and this will flow naturally.
Maxine Deanne, wedding stylist and creative was responsible for the décor and flowers as well as the creative process of selectively choosing significant elements that made this shoot possible. In the wreaths she used Wild Olive leaves, asparagus plumosa and fynbos. On the tables lace flower, white hydrangeas and longer stems of asparagus plumosa were used.
Wedding and lifestyle photographer, Michelle Denton, was there to capture all the elements. Her passion for capturing beautiful things and being able to capture someone’s memories on camera was visible on all the images.
The dress was created by Jana from Silver Swallow Design, who launched her label in 2010. My main inspiration has always been nature paired with my bohemian spirit and so floral designs and details which was perfect for this shoot. Annerie Jordt from Hello Gorgeous was responsible for the make-up on the day.
The naked cake was beautifully created by Cornel Smit from Baked with Love, a home-based bakery.
