2017 Creative Challenge Month 3: Greenery

As part of our month on ‘natural living’ I thought we would focus on the color ‘greenery’ being the Pantone colour of 2017. Every year Pantone announces a color of the year – a symbolic color selection and a color snapshot of what they see taking place in our global culture that serves as an expression of a mood and an attitude.

A refreshing and revitalizing shade, Greenery is symbolic of new beginnings.

Even though this shade of green is not quite my first choice I have fallen in love with greens as a whole. Green is such a rich colour with shades to swoon over. The challenge for this month is quite broad-themed. You need to incorporate something green into your home. Whether it is a plant, a cushion, artwork or painting a wall, the options are endless.

The image below is one where I did a floral arrangement in my home for a bridal styled shoot that we will be sharing later this month. Hope this gets those creative juices flowing! Image by Wynand van der Merwe Photography, featuring Elli-Nicole Shoes. Stationary by Lieflingkind Design.

I have two items on my to do list. One, painting a green focal wall in the spare bedroom and the second trying my hands at making a wreath. Leave me with a comment on what you will attempt in the comments section below.
