Glitterazzi styled wedding shoot {part 2}
For the second part of the Glitterazzi styled wedding shoot we did at the end of 2013 at the Irene Dairy Farm in Pretoria, we used a pink and black combination for the cakes and two other dresses. The flowers we used wre also a bit more dramatic. {See part 1 here}.The décor + styling was done by Carla from Moi Decor and the ‘LOVE’ letters is from TYPO. The delicacies are again by Inge from The Cake Cartel. I made the ruffles that adorned the table for the massive 1m diameter balloon that popped just before Melanie Wessels could... Read More

Glitterazzi styled wedding shoot {part 1}
I am so excited to finally get to blog this, Glitterazzi themed styled wedding shoot that we did at the end of 2013 at the Irene Dairy Farm in Pretoria. So many lovilees came on board and together we made some lovilee happen! Thank you so much lovilees!I wanted to set up the table in one of the gravel roads on the property, but there was soooo much rain that week that it ended up being a total mud bath! We did the best we could with the set up but ended up looking like little mud monkeys ourselves. Melanie Wessels worked her magic to make... Read More

Wedding Table Book Numbers {DIY}
by Megan from The Sun House BlogOn a very, very hot day in October, 2013, the love of my life and I tied the knot at the lovely Hertford Country Hotel in Lanseria. It was beyond perfect! And if anything actually went wrong on the day, I didn’t know about it. There was the fact that we forgot about the father/daughter dance, and my dad forgot to shake my then-fiance’s hand when he handed me over. But, it was entirely our day and about 90% of the wedding was a do-it-yourself project. Including the table numbers. {see the wedding... Read More

Pretty + Personalised wedding hangers
Details, details, details… I cannot re-iterate this enough when it comes to any special occasion. People might not remember everything that happened or that they saw on your special day, but they are sure to remember the special touches and small details that you added to surprise.Many a bride forgets to consider what her or her bridesmaid’s dresses will hang on for the dress shots on the day. Grabbing an old shoddy hanger might mean that you end up having to cut off the top of the photo, or it might just be an eye sore on the... Read More

Olivelli Cape Town: Tania + Magdalene Collection
Bridal store, Olivelli Cape Town, recently launched their very proudly South African range of bridesmaid and mother-of-the-bride dresses. And the dresses are in my opinion truly lovilee! The Olivelli Cape Town franchise came to life as the extension of owner, Natasha Colson, journey in “finding the perfect dress” for her own wedding, back in 2011. Her experience led her to Olivelli Northcliff, and she fell in love with these beautiful, exclusive and world class wedding dresses.“I remember thinking: Cape Town needs an... Read More
