Vintage Nostalgia {Bespoke Blooms}
Tamyrin from Bespoke Blooms recently asked me to pair up with her on styling for a wedding. I was so sad that I had to decline due to other commitments, but this lady did such a great job herself that I am not sure I would have been able to make it any more lovilee, especially the heart floral wreath! Well done on making this vintage affair so memorable and off-course kudos to the very talented Melanie Wessels for the beautiful images.What Tamyrin had to say about the day The bride and groom are very involved with nature and the bush. Woodland wedding at Beloftebos {Sybrand Cillié}
Ruan + Inge Radyn got married in the beautiful forest of Beloftebos, Stanford. Their special day was captured by the talented Sybrand Cillié. This Woodland wedding had plenty of DIY projects from the invites to the décor.    “I’ve always dreamt of a fairytale wedding, a day where everything would seem magical and possible. Both Ruan + I love nature and felt that if we truly wanted to create a beautiful day, creation would play a big part. After all, nothing can compete with the beauty of tall trees, sunlight dancing... Maria + Morne tied the knot at the knot at Arts on Main in Johannesburg. The couple, both designers, met during the Design Indaba in 2010. Maria was living in Stellenbosch at the time and Morne had come from Johannesburg to attend the conference. He came to town to visit a mutual friend who brought him along on a night out. After some very persistent conversation-starting on Morne’s part they eventually began chatting. The rest, as they say, is history. After 3 years of long distance dating they got hitched!The couple chose to design... Read More

White Wedding Palette {PictureMe&U}
Claudio + Gabriela tied the knot at the Killarney Country Club in Johannesburg with the PictureMe&U team doing the photos. This couple whom knew each other from high school opted for a white wedding palette and their stationary was lovilee! I think that the reason this wedding tugged at my heart strings was because of the lovilee cake toppers that were very similar to the ones I had on my wedding. ‘As a joke I would also tell Claudio that the only way he could surprise me is if he proposed to me in my PJs – so that’s exactly... A 'glimmer of gold' wedding
Melanie Wessels captured this special couples’ images of their wedding held at Chez Charlene. The theme was filled with gold touches, one of the trends that lovilee predicts will dominate the wedding scene this year.Jean had seen Sarah, who moved here from the US in 2005, at parties but never spoke to her. They didn’t know each other at the time but the following year, Jean saw a picture of her on-line and finally started talking to her on hi5. Being a little skeptical at first, she agreed to become his pen pall as she never thought... Read More

A Whimsical Wedding {picture me&u}
I just LOVE whimsical weddings! They are playfully quaint, detailed and LOVILEE! This couple who got engaged one Christmas morning really created a gorgeous DIY event full of the details that makes for a truly unique wedding day. Everything on the day was DIY, the bride, who is a designer, created the stationary and had some assistance by family + friends with the flowers, table decorations + home-made fudge for favours. The mother-of-the-bride spent hours sewing all the bunting amongst other things. Family + friends also helped set everything... Read More

'n Wit + Olyfgroen troue
