The excitement is real when I tell you that I am the first to share a sneak peek of this minimalist kitchen makeover by Petro from Monoshop! This month on lovilee we explore the theme Minimalism, it is something that is a go to word these days but not quite understood, even by myself I realised.
Minimalism: “Intentionally trying to live with only the things I really need.”
I found this explanation over on Becoming Minimalist and it just described this theory so well. Even though I have tried to start exploring how I can implement this into my own home I have to acknowledge that I still have a very very long way to go. It is however something that I aspire to start a journey with going forward. See some other transformations of Petro that I have shared before in this link.
Our Minimalist Kitchen Makeover – by Petro
Our home has literally been a work in progress ever since we moved in. It is fine by me, since it gives me something to blog about every once in a while and I sort of enjoy the ongoing project that it is. Having said that, I have been looking forward to our new kitchen for quite some time now and a few months ago, we finally got around to renovating it.
Just like our home, our kitchen is not quite finished yet. We still need to install shelves in the pantry and take care of some smaller details. But when Kari asked me to do a guest post for her blog, I decided that this would be the perfect place to share the first photos of our kitchen (I haven’t even shared them on my own blog yet!). Needless to say, these photos don’t include the pantry or other parts of the kitchen that are still incomplete but I will share those in a future post. For now, here is a sneak peek of our new kitchen.
