I love this time of year – lots of celebration, loved ones and memories! We usually spend Christmas with our family and new years’ with friends, and there really is nothing better than ringing in the New Year with good food, great conversations and watching the fireworks at midnight.

The New Year is all about hopes and dreams for the year to come, so we went all out with glitter and sparkles with this one. Print the boxes out on shiny paper and fill them with sparklers as a great favour for your guests. They can later be used to celebrate the New Year in a sparkly way. This DIY printable by Colleen van Heese from Lieflingkind Designs is also really special as you can use the props for almost any occasion. The lovilee images are by Natalie Loots from NYX Photography.

Sparkler boxes + how to?
Print the boxes out on thick paper of your choice (we suggest something gorgeous and shiny), cut them out along the solid lines and fold them on the dotted lines. Use two-way tape to paste the flap to the box and fold the ends of the box in to finish it off. We’ve included a plain box so you can go wild with these. Use glitter and sequence to decorate the box according to your desires or print it out on patterned paper if you want to go for something completely different.

Photobooth Props + How to?
Print these out on thick cardboard and cut out on the edges. You can print them out as they are, or print the outlines on patterned paper. Have fun with glitter, diamante or paint to customize them & keep them really original.
Using a glue gun, fasten kebab sticks or colourful straws to them and leave to dry. Last, but not least, have fun!
Post your photo’s to the Lieflingkind Page – we would LOVE to see the creative ways in which you use them!
