3 Christmas place settings ideas

Christmas is a wonderful time of the year (to quote the age-old Christmas carol). It is a time where the family gathers together to enjoy each others company and indulge in glorious food. When we all gather together it is fun to decorate the table in a festive and merry way.

Here are a few ideas on how to decorate your table differently and simply with our Christmas place settings ideas.

1. Woodsy Christmas place settings

Nature is a wonderful way of keeping your Christmas decor down to earth. Write the name tag on a piece of wood and simply place it on a white plate. Other natural elements you can use include large leaves (which you could also write on using a permanent marker) or dried seed pods.

2. Giftsy Christmas table inspiration

Use pops of colour such as red, green or gold in gentle ways. Fabric ribbons make a beautiful addition to any table or why not try wrapping a plate in a ribbon or thread to make it a present.

3. Simplistic Christmas place settings

Another simple way of adding place names is by using wire to write initials which can be placed on a plate or propped against the cutlery. Why not use a simple tag and prop it up using a bull clip (bought from any stationer).

To complete any Christmas table add some chocolate balls, a few Christmas decorations and your special members of your heart to enjoy a meal together.
