This month I am challenging you to a soft toy DIY. You can either make a toy for yourself or to spoil someone special with. You can either knit a toy, crochet a toy or even sew one. As long as it is soft and cuddly you can submit it for sharing on the Creative Challenge Facebook Group or on Instagram using the hashtag #lovileecraft.

In a previous blog post shared this very cute Teddy bear knitting pattern that my mom designed for us. She and various other people regularly knit these cuties to spoil cancer patients and small children affected by cancer with. It is so lovilee to see how everyone makes use of the same pattern, yet each teddy has a personality of his own in the end. Image by Tracey Kelsey Photography.

I knitted these animal skittels with some held from grandma from the second book in the new You/Huisgenoot knitting magazines. They were for manny’s nursery before he was born and was quite the hit! He still loved playing with them and now entertains his sister with them. Image by Melanie Wessels Photography.

I will be sharing my own soft toy DIY on the blog the day after tomorrow, so stay tuned! What will you be making? Leave me with a comment below.
