Leigh-Anne Stevenson is the lovilee behind The Love Generation Gift boxes that shares the love one box at a time. One of the boxes that they have is a monthly subscription date night box. The lovilees sent me one for review…
I had absolutely no idea what to expect in the box. After having two kids there is very little time that we get to do a ‘date night’ but I decided that we had to give it a try. (We ended up exploring the contents of the box over two evenings).
The box arrived beautifully branded and filled with some delicious edible treats as well as some pamper bath goodies. Included were also three cards:
- A card that outlined what the box was all about.
- One with a super duper easy to make recipe (my kinda cooking) and the date night activities.
- A fun couples Q&A and Scavenger hunt challenge.
Most of the ingredients needed for the recipe were included in the box. I only had to add the fresh ingredients. There were some sparkling grape juice, romantic candles, super duper delicious cookies as well as some other goodies. The box literally had all the elements that I needed to ‘style’ our table with and then some bubble bath as spoil.
All in all I thought that is was definitely a fun box for a date night ‘in’. It gave my hubby and I the opportunity to spend some quality and fun time together and laugh together about some of the answers to the couple Q&A.
Other boxes available
The Love Generation has quite a few different boxes available on their site. There are ones to celebrate special occasions like Father’s Day, Birthdays as well as Weddings. They even make provision for our four footed friends with a box for pups and kittens. All of the gifts include free shipping and are delivered via courier.
We want to help you show your love for the important people in your life with a unique box that says “you’re fantastic”.
Pay it forward
TLG encourages each person that purchases or receives on of their boxes to ‘pay it forward’ by filling your empty box with some goodies and giving it to someone less fortunate than yourself. The ideas are endless, you can fill it with any items like – old clothing, toiletries, food, etc.
I filled my box with some of the princess’ clothes that she has outgrown and will be donating them to someone special for their little one.
