I have shared some images of my home tour before as well as some of our main bedroom but I never actually shared the full bedroom. I have not changed much, except for the vinyl triangle wall behind my bed an updating the carpet that I had in there as well. (The carpet was in the lounge before and a total gem that I purchased from @home a few years ago). Here with a before image that was taken by Carike Ridout Photography after the princess was born.

It really helps if you have more or less the same colour palette throughout your home as you can swap things like carpets and even sometimes curtains from one room to another without spending any additional monies. The bed was originally a copper bed that I bought on gumtree. I then had it spray painted white in our first home. I am still just as in love with this bed as I were six years ago, it is such a timeless piece. The bedside tables were from Biggie Best that I bought with one of our wedding gift vouchers. The bedlamps were from Mr Price Home.

The His and Her scatters are from Zana Products and pegboard on the side-table from Fable Lifestyle & Baby. The wire pendant light was from Abode in Cape Town.

The Scandinavian bedroom inspiration started with a deer antler jewellery hook that I purchased at Atelier 8 in Haarlem. It is such a lovilee decor and gifting store that is totally worth a visit should you ever find yourself in The Netherlands.

I asked Minette from Mini’s Flowers to make me a ‘slangbos’ wreath as I was really battling to do it myself. It gives such a fresh farmhouse feel to the room and compliments the look that I wanted to go for.

On the opposite side of the room is my dressing table – a refurbished DIY project of an old sewing table. I literally added a lick of paint, loose mirror and new handles to the drawers. See the full DIY in this link. I received a really really awesome cement ring holder by WJ Collection from Dominique (who also took the images) and it now has a special place on the dresser.

The washing basket (drum) is from Pedersen+Lennard.

When you enter the door I have some really functional wooden wall hooks from Simply Home, and off-course don’t go anywhere without my turkish Towels from Orejen.

A big thank you to Dominique from Hello Love Photography who took the lovilee images of our bedroom whilst we did the Scandinavian Inspired Christmas shoot last year. She also managed to snap some really cute images of the princess destroying my flowers!
