A big thank you to Nadia from Creative Heroes who created these really awesome free flamingo party printables for us! She actually made use of this flamingo stationery set for her 30th birthday that looked totally amazing and created an editable version for us to use.
Flamingos are those pretty, but puzzling birds that’s color get affected by their diet and knees bend backward! Weird, but totally on-trend! This free party printable includes a Save the Date, Thank you card and then a cake topper. Download them here.
How to use the tropical party printables?
Save the date image
You can either create a Whatsapp invite group and use the image as an icon or send the image to people individually. If you want to edit the image use a mobile app like Snapseed to add text to the image before you send it off.
PDF Printables
Print these printables out in colour on a white cardboard of your choice, either at home or your local printing store. Use a pair of scissors or a craft knife and metal ruler to cut the printables out. Add some skewer sticks to the cake topper and place it on top of your cake. (You might want to try bake an ombre cake, we have the how-to steps here)
How to throw the ultimate tropical flamingo party
- Decide on the color scheme that you want to go with. I would suggest using lots of greenery and definitely touches of flamingo pinks and sunshine yellows. An easy way is to paint some Pineapples pink or even gold!
- Get ready for your party by downloading and printing the printables here. By sharing either the digital save the date or using other of the flamingo stationery suite you will get your guests in the party mood before it even starts!
- Make use of foilage and greenery like delicious monster leaves or even palm or banana tree leaves for the tropical decor. These leaves have strong and interesting shapes and have a rich dark green that will set the scene, transporting you to a tropical island.
- Think pink for the party food! Pink flamingo cakes or cupcakes, You can even try to make use of beetroot as natural dye. Get creative!
- If you can and whether permitting, have your party in the garden, or better yet… Next to the pool!
- Consider dressing down at this party… Maybe ask your guests to wear their swimsuits and have a blast!
