With National Women’s Day around the corner I thought we’d shift some focus to the lovilee ladies out there. The photography as done by Jack and Jane Photography and they were assisted by Jean Badenhorst. Jack and Jane is available for these sessions, assisting with the styling and love coming up with a theme or idea for a portrait session. With Cindy’s session they incorporated a ladder and Terry from Ribbon Creative Studio made the beautiful flower piece for the ladder as well as Cindy’s flower headpiece. We wanted Cindy’s session to be colourful, yet soft and feminine and decided on a very plain location for the backdrop for her session.

‘I truly believe that a woman should do something for herself every now and then – something that she is passionate about and that she loves! Doing this styled shoot was exactly that for me – I did something for myself and I did something that I love very dearly. Having beautiful portrait pictures of yourself no matter what age you are or what time in your life it is forms a part of you, and looking back on those pictures tell a story about your life’s journey.
