Pottery inspiration with a pretty Macrame planter

Sheesh, at the start of 2015 I had so many creative resolutions and lots of them went out the back door. I started pottery classes just over a month ago at the CO2 LAB in Craighall Park and I am loving every single moment of it!

My first project at the classes were pinch pots that I turned into planters. My mom showed me how to do macrame and after lots of tries I managed to complete my first plant hanger. What do you think? (The ceramic reindeer hook in the image is from @home.

As part of the second class we each made a platter with a foot rest. I used both under and overglaze to paint on the fine lines on the platter and am so chuffed with the results.

Although I am busy with a dinner set I made this jewellery holder one evening as well.
