How to make body scrub? A simple and easy recipe

Ever wondered how to make your own body scrub? This Brown sugar and Orange body scrub DIY was part of a lovilee project that we did for Consol Glass a few years ago. It was part of a bigger Christmas project where we shared various gifts in jars ideas that included a Christmas in a jar bottle.

Lauren came up with the creative idea of using one of the bottles for a pampering DIY body scrub. She decorated the lid by adding a cute little plastic bear figurine on the lid. She first spray painted it gold and then covered with glue which she then dipped into some glitter. I LOVED this idea and think it is a great inexpensive yet hearty gift! Lauren also made the gift tag for this bottle that just added a dab of cute!

How to use body scrubs?

The main benefit of body scrubs is how they aide in removing dead skin cells, which helps promote clearer and softer skin. The added advantages of using a body scrub can include skin-smoothing benefits; you can enjoy the invigorating and satisfying feeling of a massage in your own home with body scrubs. When should I not use a body scrub? If your skin is irritated in any way – particularly if you have a sunburn or rash, you should not use a body scrub. (source)
