I loved Easter as a child. I still do. But when I was little, it used to be a big family affair – having everyone I loved all together. We spent the day going to church in the morning, preparing food, sharing a big lunch around the table & then dessert on the veranda. It’s no secret though that, as a child, there’s only one thing you really care about at Easter – chocolate!
Some of the fondest memories of my childhood are searching for Easter eggs with my cousins. Our parents capitalised on the time they could keep us occupied & made sure the Easter eggs were well hidden. They use to pop up everywhere – under the pillows on the bed, in the fireplace, on top of the curtain rail and even inside the washing machine (as a kid you really never think to look there).
I really wrapped my brain around creating an Easter egg hunt printables that was not only beautiful and practical, but that would also make the Easter hunt more fun. And so I came up with garden signage – leaving clues for the kids around the garden to where the eggs are hidden or even lead them on a wild goose chase if you wanted to. I’ve added bunnies and signage and decorative blank eggs to write your own clues on, as well as some beautiful cupcake toppers. Hope that these will put great big smiles on those little faces!

What you need?
- Scissors or art knife
- Glue or Cellotape
- Kebab sticks, cocktail sticks & 1cm thick wooden poles
- Print the file on thick paper and cut around the edges using either scissors or an art knife.
- Using glue or Cellotape, position the sticks on the back of the signage and leave to dry. I suggest using kebab sticks for the bunnies, the wooden poles for the larger signs and cocktail sticks for the cupcake toppers.
- Place them strategically in your garden and enjoy!
