This Fire Truck party was such a lovilee kids party, Manny and I attended this birthday party planned by friendy Liezel from Match Set Love for her precious daughter. Lilli turned three and she wanted a “Fire Engine Party”. Liezel literally did EVERYTHING from designing to styling and setting up herself… what a job! A lot of people asked her whether her daughter is a tomboy? No, she is just really fascinated by Fire Trucks and does not judge it to be male or female…
This milestone image and poster was such a great addition and a lovilee keepsake. We actually took the image at the Spring Styled shoot I commissioned at The Hertford Hotel in Lanseria.
Liezel kept everything in bright and fun colors – red, grey and white with flaming accents. She added some red doilies, confetti, ribbon (all from the Party Spot) and a lovely soft font to bring in a feminine twist for the party decorations (as it was for her little girl after all). The party took place at theFood Emporium in Broad Acres, Fourways. The combination of their cakes, their delicious food, fantastic service and really nice venue with the little ‘Rose Cottage’ and cool play area for kids made this the perfect choice.
The popcorn boxes were bought in a plain white from Merrypak.co.za. The Jam jars that were used to serve the drinks in are from Consol Glass. The Red and White Stripe Canvas material was bought from Chamdor Faktry Sales.
The Fireman Hats were purchased from Toys R Us and Liezel customised the vinyl names on them for each child in attendance.
As for the games at the party, there was a really fun pin the Fire Engine blindfold activity. To keep the little ones entertained at the tables there were fire truck coloring sheets and plenty of stickers to keep them busy.
And then for the adults, we were spoilt with delicious salads and quiche! And off-course, everything also looked just lovilee! Laura from Jack and Jane Photography was the photographer for the special day and she made captured all the fun, hard work and special moments beautifully!
