More about the ‘lets love more’ movement

As part of the movement, Mayalief has launched a totally pretty and stylish t-shirt range for toddlers (ages 1-5 years). The designs are simple, yet thought-provoking and printed on a crisp white t-shirt with long black sleeves for the little ones. There are FIVE different design slogans available.

‘Growing to love one another more can be achieved through simple everyday acts: smiling at a stranger, doing a good deed and thinking of the possible consequences to ones’ actions.

These tees are a cry for all of us to show more love for our fellow humans. They are a visual reminder, for those wearing it and those seeing it to try to love more.’

Who is Mayalief?

The Mayalief brand was born in 2015 when Michelle Goosen had her firstborn and decided to move away from her corporate 9-5 day job to start her own business. The name ‘Mayalief’ translated in English to ‘Maya Love’ is what Michelle decided to call the business – Maya, her beautiful daughter and love added to it.

What started off as an excuse to stay at home and play dress-up the whole day, has become an established home-based ‘factory’. The product designs are hand-drawn, digitised and then screen printed on Michelle’s dining room table one by one. Cutting, sewing and stitching commences and finally a beautiful product emerges. This lovilee lady is now mommy of two gorgeous girls and you can see and feel her passion for what she does if you ever have the chance to meet her face to face.

What products do Mayalief sell?

Even though Mayalief originally started off making and selling decor items, they now have an kids and baby extended range that include accessories, developmental toys, fabric dolls, milestone cards and other card stock. Their modern and minimalistic ‘the story of you’ baby book has also become quite popular. A journal ideal for capturing all those special moments and memories of your little one from birth through to their 5th birthday.

Mayalief does all things monochrome; inspired by the simplicity of Scandinavian interior design and decor, Michelle embraces the Nordic style but strives to keep a true-to-heart South African feel.

Where can lovilees purchase the tees and other Mayalief products?

All of the Mayalief products are available through their on-line shop but they also have a view stockists that you can view in the footer of their website.
