This is an easy no fuss Christmas Red Christmas Trifle Recipe, that is sure to impress every guest at the Christmas table this year. Up or down-style the dessert by using fancy, different shape or different shape glasses on the table this year.
Red Christmas Trifle Recipe
- Cherry or Strawberry Jelly
- Fresh Strawberries (halved)
- Fresh Cherries (destoned and halved)
- Sponge cake
- 1 cup of sifted Icing Sugar
- Mix the jelly according to the instructions on the box. Add the fruit to the jelly. Pour the jelly into glasses and place in the fridge and allow to set.
- Cut discs of sponge cake and place above the set jelly.
- Whip the cream until soft speak stage and then add the icing sugar and whip till stiff peaks.
- Add the cream above the sponge and decorate with mint .
