Pantone’s colours of 2016 are Rose Quartz and Serenity. The team couldn’t wait to conceptualize them into a beautiful shoot that would inspire brides to use these colours in their florals or gowns. Their idea was to stray away from a formal styled shoot and let the elements speak for themselves. They chose an open field because it provided a gorgeous neutral backdrop and made the colours pop even more. The elevated surface on which the shoot took place added a new dimension to the field without intruding on its beauty. The lighting at sunset was soft and whimsical and it was a bonus that the sky became adorned in Rose Quartz and Serenity too.
We were inspired by movement and elegance when it came to the dresses and no designer better understood our vision than Jacelyn from White Lilly Atelier. The dresses billowed with the slightest breeze and allowed for beautifully romantic images. The full skirt with loose camisole was created specifically for the shoot and provides an exquisite alternative to the traditional wedding gown. The peach dress is just as stunning with intricate details on the bodice and striking back. Zelda from White Lilly Makeup did a striking job in creating looks that are fresh-faced yet bold.
Lorean Jewellery provided the perfect accessories to compliment the dresses and hairstyles. All the pieces are handmade and sculpted to the finest detail. The rose gold hues added a trendy touch to the concept. The pieces ensured that the hairstyles looked effortlessly elegant.
The floral décor created by Love and Grace tied the colours and shoot concept in perfectly. They played around with floral bouquets and arranged the flowers on plates and cutlery to create an edge. The pastel hues used alongside our two focus colours allowed for a full-bodied colour palette. Chrystalace designed elegant stationery with brush and water colour fonts to compliment the theme of the shoot and the table décor.
