Whose on my list of favourite lifestyle blogs?

A while back I shared some of my favourite Instagrammers that I follow. Today I am excited to share some of the SA lifestyle blogs that I follow. Some of them I have been following for years and others are only recent discoveries. These lovilees really run some great and inspiring blogs that are worth a visit or a follow. The list is in no particular order.

Inspired Living SA
If you love having the inside scoop on current Decor and Fashion Trends, where to find great Restaurants and the best local Wine, as well as reading amazing Travel Adventures – then Inspired Living is just the place for you! This award winning Lifestyle Publication, was created to provide you the reader with first-hand experiences, honest product and travel reviews and relevant brand features, rather than generic information. The name of the publication was inspired by a need to share inspiration for everyday living, on a lifestyle platform, which readers could identify with and be inspired by.

I was up against this lovilee in the recent Gumtree #AutoCycle challenge, but have great respect for Germarie and just love the blog she runs. You will also be seeing more of her articles and work on lovilee in the coming months. This blog is about everything HOME – how you live in it and how you make it yours. Germarie aims to inspire and empower you to create your ultimate home, one where you get nourishment not only for your body but also for your soul.

Nadia van Der Mescht
Nadia is no newbie to lovilee, she is literally one of my blogging icons and her advice with her creative consults invaluable. Also Durban based, Nadia specialises in assisting creative business owners to establish their brand through a range of services designed specifically for small to medium businesses. her site also boasts a blog section where she shares great advice and snail mail inspiration.

I Want That
iwantthat is a blog that focuses on the details. The details that can make our lives prettier, more interesting, more colourful and hopefully more inspired. It’s a blog that showcases interesting people in the decor, design, arts, food and creative world (both in South Africa and abroad) and the things they do. The blog is run by Cape Town based, Vicki Sleet who has been in the industry for around 15 years. She is currently the Assistant and Lifestyle Editor ( focusing on Food and Decor) at Good Housekeeping Magazine.
