Sometimes the submissions I receive just brighten up my day! This was the case with this colourful e-session by Sonjé Ludwick Photography. Esmeralda and Kelvin, who met at a dance club, wanted to celebrate the brides’ Spanish heritage and thus decided on the colour scheme. The shoot took place at Eensgezind and Sonjé not only did the photography but also the decor for this shoot.
Those blue chairs and the succulents in the pots really caught my eye, the vibrant colours really popped against the backdrop. Hope you love this one just as much as I did!
Tell us more about the proposal
It was an “amazing race style” proposal. He had family members stand at differents points at the V&A Waterfront.. Each point had a person in our family with an envelope with a letter of different moments in our relationship ending with a question of that spesific moment.. If I had the question correct the family member gave me a rose. I had 4 stops and 4 roses to collect till I saw him standing on a boat jetty near the aquarium, Where he followed by saying “well done you are the first women to arrive” with a little speech and on one knee he asks me ” sal jy my die eer doen en met my trou en my vrou wees”!! Remember it like yesterday.
