Sharing some really, really pretty tropical party printables with you that will set you in a totally Tropsy mood! Colleen from Lieflingkind Design created this lovilee tropical inspired stationery set complete with an editable invitation, menu, thank you cards and decorative posters (in both English and Afrikaans) that will make throwing a tropical bash really easy! We made use of the full set of printables from our Tropical / greenery styled bridal shoot. It was the first time that I collaborated with Table + Cloth who was responsible for the decor and table settings and I am really proud of the results of the shoot.

Must have tropical party food condiments
At a tropical party finger foods are a must! We made use of some sauces and biltong from Pauli’s Food Company. These lovilees are based in Linden, Johannesburg and I first discovered their goodies at the Linden market and literally cannot get enough of their tasty tomato relish. I eat it on toast, use if for pizza bases and in pastas. It is yum! We presented these on Large leaves from my garden and also used them as gift favours by wrapping them up in a leafy parcel with ‘thank you’ tags that you can download as printables here. (follow the instructions in the word document)
They have smaller sauce bottle options of 50ml that starts at R28.50 that make the perfect gift for guests. Interested? Then you can contact them on Dianne@paulisfood.com or 084 510 6002.
Tropical Party favours
I decided to get crafty and make some unique tropical party favours for the guests. Making use of 2 long leaves that I found off a plant in my garden I cross crossed them, brought the ends together and punched some holes into the edges. Then I used some string to tie the parcel together. The insides being small jars of Pauli’s Food goodies.
Setting 1: Delicious Monster Love
I have long wanted to work with Wynand van der Merwe Photography on a styled shoot. His images are just stunning and I really challenged him with this shoot. It was indoors and the lighting on the day was quite poor as it was raining and overcast outside. This is how you know someone knows what they are doing… The images came out pretty awesome!
Setting 2: Pretty Pinks & Greenery
Carla from Moi Decor Hire assisted with this table’s flowers and geo planters as well as handwritten stationary. Aneen wow’ed us with her unique table setting and I especially loved the way that she tied the serviettes to become part of the decor instead of just being a functional element thereof.
We made use of Lola Wilde’s new romantics bridesmaids collection. Their separate top and bottoms are such a lovilee and timeless option for a bridal party. Nicci being the perfect model to showcase one of these outfits.
